Let's Jump Again!

We couldn't accept the fact that Jump Jupiter would remain offline forever. For this reason, a new team has now been formed to bring our beloved Jump'n'Run back to life.

Jump Jupiter's History

2006 - 2014

The golden era

Jump Jupiter thrills thousands of players with its unique jump ‘n’ run gameplay, four different moons, and a community that is second to none.

2014

End of an era

The game is being taken offline due to security vulnerabilities and unprofitability. The community will remain intact, and the memories will live on.

2024

Revival is beginning

Former players are reuniting. In contact with the original developer, we are starting the redevelopment—with the official rights to names and graphics.

2025

Jump Jupiter is coming back

New technology, old soul. The game needs to be completely reprogrammed from scratch and the assets prepared for the new engine. Initial internal testing is already underway.

2026

Beta

This year, we are confident that we will get things off the ground. Updates to follow!

FAQ

We are an association of former players who are trying to rebuild the game together in their spare time. The team includes people who were involved in the first fan project ‘Jump Mania’ as well as people from the team that was already working on the creation of a new version in early 2024.

This version is also expressly a fan project!

The version of Jump Jupiter that went offline at the end of 2014 was still based on Flash/ActionScript, which is no longer supported at browser level. In addition, security vulnerabilities and hacker attacks increased towards the end.

For a long time, both the name and the graphics, the rights to which we former players did not have, were a long-term problem in recreating the game. Now we can finally proudly report that the rights are now back with one of the former developers and founders of spotsonfire, Stefan ‘Biele’ Klemm, who expressly authorises us to use them and supports the project wherever possible.

The progress of the project is reported on our Discord server at regular intervals.
