Community-made remake · In development
One planet. One long flight back.
Jump Jupiter returns as a remake of the award-winning multiplayer platformer. Rebuilt from scratch. Created together. With the spirit of the original.
The remake is in development. We share progress and future testing opportunities on Discord first.

The original
A game that
stayed with us.
In 2009, Jump Jupiter brought real running, jumping and playing together straight to the browser. Across four distinctive moons, players completed quests, won races and built their own levels in the Spacepark.
In 2010, Goldener Spatz named Jump Jupiter the best online game. The original ended in 2014 – but its community did not.

Your journey
Four completely different worlds.
Every moon plays by its own rules – with new flora, new dangers and new ways to reach the top.

Where it all begins
Taygete
A vibrant jungle moon filled with vines, ruins and your first giant leaps.

Mist & mushrooms
Themisto
A damp, mysterious world with giant mushrooms and some very strange inhabitants.

Icy edges
Metis
Frozen platforms, razor-sharp plants and paths that forgive no misstep.

Ancient secrets
Ananke
Totems, weathered temples and a jungle that knows more than it reveals.
The fifth moon
Spacepark
Not a real moon, but a space station filled with ideas from the community: play levels created by others – or build your own in the level editor.
Discover what other players have built.
Let your creativity run free in the editor.
When the original game ended, every player-built level was lost. The Spacepark will reopen in the remake – ready for entirely new creations.
Kuna Lipa will once again sell Spacepark tickets. In the remake, you will have more free minutes before you need one.

This is not a loose reinterpretation. We are preserving the feeling of the original and continuing where the community never stopped.

FAQ
More questions?
Good jump.
The most important answers about the remake, the original content and current progress.
Who is working on the remake?
The project is being rebuilt in the team’s spare time by former players and contributors. This includes people from earlier fan projects and today’s community.
Why does the game have to be rebuilt completely?
The original was based on Flash and ActionScript. Modern browsers no longer support this technology, and it does not meet current security and operational requirements. The engine and game systems therefore have to be rebuilt.
Are you allowed to use the name and original artwork?
The name and original artwork are used with the express permission of Stefan “Biele” Klemm, co-founder of spotsonfire and holder of the rights.
When can I play?
There is no publicly confirmed launch date yet. We share development updates and future testing opportunities on Discord first.
